Lead to Healing is:

a dining room table where friends can laugh and celebrate and pour their hearts out;

a kitchen with a whistling tea kettle, where connection and tea are always warm;

a living room where the chairs are comfy and the conversation lively -

Because growth rarely happens through books and podcasts; it happens when we are connected and known.

Welcome Home.

The longer version:

Lead to Healing, LLC began as a way to connect Christians to good resources. The original website was full of book recommendations, discussion questions (for said books), and nuggets of wisdom I’ve picked up as a therapist, trauma-informed practitioner, bio and adoptive mom, and just a human in this world. Many great authors have penned books that allow our minds to expand and grow, but at some point along the way, readers would inevitably begin to wonder when their hearts and embodied experience would finally catch up to their academic learning.

This all began as a way to help people who are leading others -

a way for them to “lead (others) to healing.”

Over time, it became clear that people don’t want a list of books to read; they want someone to help them along the path. They don’t want to keep trying to pour out of an empty cup; they want to be poured into. As I heard this feedback more and more, I decided to adapt what I offer.

Lead to Healing now provides the pathway to walk one-on-one with people on their own journeys of growth and healing.

The journey of personal growth and healing requires two things:

1) you need to understand your own Story. How did you get to the place in which you now find yourself?

2) you need to be known, safe, and connected in relationship with someone who sees the image of God in you, and who calls you toward who you were made to be.

If you are ready to partner together on this journey, consider scheduling a free consult call with me. You don’t have to walk alone.

FAQs

How often can I text or leave a voice note?

You are encouraged to touch base as frequently as you would like. You don’t have to worry about leaving too many messages.

How long will it take to hear back?

Your Guide will check their messages multiple times a day, so it’s very likely that you will get a response within hours.

How long does it take to achieve results?

This depends on your goals and obstacles. Some clients achieve results within just a few months, while others need longer to address their belief systems. Many clients find that they want to identify new goals after they have achieved their primary goals, and so they extend their memberships.

Is this therapy?

No. While clients often experience their work with Katie as therapeutic, it is not considered therapy. If you have questions about whether therapy or the Flexible Connection Membership would be best for you, Katie can help you determine this in your consultation call.

Does insurance cover the Flexible Connection Membership?

No. Because the Flexible Connection Memberships is not considered therapy, insurance companies are not involved. While this does affect your out-of-pocket cost, the benefit is that you don’t need a mental health diagnosis to be able to work toward your healing and growth.

Am I too old or too young for this?

Many clients worry that their age prohibits them from being able to heal. Katie has worked with clients in their 20s and clients in their 80s; it’s never too early or too late to step into freedom.

Should I use the term “Coach” or “Guide”?

Anyone can become a Life Coach without formal training, as the field is unregulated in the United States. This can lead to perceptions of offering low-level support for high fees. Katie acts as a Guide (feel free to use the term "Coach," if you prefer), leveraging her extensive experience as a therapist along with various certifications. She is dedicated to her professional development to better serve her clients.

Is Katie the only Guide available?

While Katie currently functions as the sole Guide for Flexible Coaching Memberships, there are some incredible people who are currently in training. You may be seeing some new names and faces in the coming seasons!
